SeekingSitters membership is valid nationwide. Each SeekingSitters member is provided with an efficient online account providing the ability to manage your home location, make a sitter request, view the babysitting team and set sitter preferences.
A local owner is always available for your needs. Local owners work to make sure that the most qualified and reliable sitters are available for your sitting needs. Community is important to SeekingSitters and each local office is actively involved in their community.

I personally work for you to find the best sitter match for your family. After the sitter is assigned you can meet her virtually and even chat online to ask questions or give details about your family.
Our goal is to make the entire process as seamless as possible for you and we handle the rest!
Activities and Fun
Your sitter will arrive at your home with activities and games prepared for your children's preferences and ages. We have seen how exciting it is when the professional sitter arrives on your doorstep with their bag full of activities.
When you book a regular event, talk to me about preschool and school aged activities that can be purchased on a monthly basis.

FAQ
Last Minute Services
SeekingSitters service is designed to help your on-the-go family! Over 40% of weekly filled requests are made last minute or with under 7 day’s notice. Your monthly service fee will be activated at the time of the request.
Booking and Cancellations
A non-refunable reservation amount will be charged at the time of the booking. This reservation amount is applied towards the final job total. 48 hours prior to the event, the full fee for the scheduled event will be charged and cannot be refunded after this time.
A cancellation fee will apply for any event that has been scheduled with a professional sitter.
Gratuity
Gratuity is not required but is highly suggested. The amount is at the discretion of the member.
The gratuity can be added directly to the ticket at the end of the event.
Payment Method
In order to help ensure the validity of our families, SeekingSitters only accepts credit or debit card payment for all babysitting services. Credit card accounts must be in the name of one of the SeekingSitters member and registered to the address of the babysitting event.
Please note that all transactions are processed through SeekingSitters online payment processing vendor, OBT (Online Business Transactions) and your credit card statement will reflect OBT 1(800) 557-5189.
Extended Driving Area
A $10.00 destination charge per event applies for families in the extending driving area and the fee is paid directly to your sitter. This is not a mileage compensation.
Please contact SeekingSitters regarding details of extended driving areas. All driving arrangements must be made directly with your sitter.
Overnight Babysitting Help
SeekingSitters can accommodate just about any situation that you might need babysitting help: Overnight stays, Weekend help, Sitter accompaniment on vacations.
Please contact SeekingSitters Inc. for information on pricing and sitter availability when you need extended babysitting help.
Group Events
Certified Sitters can be scheduled to help ease your special event by caring for the children so the adults can relax. The website has an easy registration process for no additoinal charge. Sitters arrive with activities for the children or can coordinate with your event planner. Weddings, Conferences or Parties are just some of the ways to utilize group event services.

Seeking Sitters has helped us more than we can say. We recently had our first child, but we both work full time. After baby was 2 months old, mom had to go back to work and none of the daycares around us would take infants. We heard about Seeking Sitters from a colleague and after talking with Team Leader Jennifer, we signed up immediately! We love that the sitters come to our house and watch our little one; play with her, help her developmentally and genuinely care and love for her. They also look after our two dogs! If one of the sitters is sick, the Team will find another sitter to look after little one, so we never have to stress about finding another one to cover. Thanks, SS
I just cannot say enough about Hilary. She arrived at my house and started playing with my son, then they played on the trampoline, took a walk with him, and made paper bag puppets. She is amazing and my son said that she is the best sitter ever! She even asked me to say to my older son Happy Birthday from her! Alicia was absolutely fantastic. I thought she'd be at a disadvantage because my boys had not had the chance to meet her before she came over for the first time - but they loved her. She seemed very confident and comfortable, but had a fun and laid back attitude that seemed to work very well. I'm grateful to have had her and will ask for her again!
We are really happy with Taylor H. and Rachel M. They are both wonderful ladies and we feel they both go above and beyond in the mornings when they are here. They kids are happy, the house is kept up in cleanliness and in laundry, and Steve and are are very happy. Also, thank you for taking care of the scheduling. It is much appreciated.

Karly is amazing. Aavie loved her. He was at ease from the moment he saw Karly. We were having a rough week because Aavie had an Asthma trigger on Monday and he was on oral steroids and nebulizer. All the medication was making him very cranky. Karly, took care of him so well. Aavie woke up rested and also asked me Mommy where is Karly, I want to play with her? It was so cute. We have had some great sitters from SeekingSitters but have used Regina the most and love her! My two toddlers adore her and are so excited when she comes over to play, which definitely helps alleviate the guilt of leaving them. We never worry when she is with them, because we know they are safe and in good hands. Two little ones can be a handful, so we really appreciate having someone we trust watch them so we can have a much needed date night every now and then!

We had Natalie G. for New Year's Eve overnight with our kids and 2 kids of our friends. Let me just say my kids are still talking about that night. I wanted to let you know how much the kids enjoyed Mary Gordy. I am sure you hear this a lot, but she is WONDERFUL! She came armed with crafts and activities, and when my husband and I got back around 10 pm, we found fresh baked blueberry muffins they had made, and she had started a load of the girls' laundry!!
Carol babysat my 4 year old boy a few weeks ago, She was friendly, interested in what my child wanted to do/play and she had lots of energy and ideas for play. She even accompanied him to our neighborhood playground. We hope to see her again!
We love Jordan! I have two boys 3 and 16 months and they are so happy to see Jordan when she walks in the door. She is so calm and easy going that leaving for work is actually relaxing. We love Christyne! My boys think she's the greatest and are always asking "when will Christyne be coming back?". She is quiet and confident, experienced yet playful. When I say playful, I mean she is willing to get out in the back yard and let the boys loose for water balloon chaos! I love that about her, and it's why the boys love her too. She gets down on the floor to play with my little one, and plays cards or games with my older son. Did I mention our dog, Luna, loves her too?! She comes back to watch the boys every time I can snag her!
We are so grateful to have found Ari! We don't have family in the area, so it's vital that we trust someone with our toddler and in our home. We never worry when Ari is there, not even for a moment. She is great with our 18 month old daughter. Bedtime can be tough for us, but Ari handles it so well, and lets us know the moment she falls asleep.

Carol was such a huge hit with my kids! Beth was excellent. She arrived 15 mins ahead of time, so I was able to review all the relevant matters related to Madhuri with her. Madhuri was happy and clean when I returned home and that was great. She sent me 2 updates during the 6 hour period and I was very grateful.

I don't think we've ever given any feedback to Regina, but obviously we love Regina! She is a calm and capable presence in our home and our twins truly look forward to her arrival. Regina is always prepared with a craft, game, or activity, but she has also been fantastic about helping us facilitate homeschooling on days when we have needed her help. She is also wonderful with our newborn and I feel so relaxed knowing she is in charge. I have complete confidence in Regina and am so pleased to work with her.

Heather Y is fabulous. She is so calm and mature - she can totally handle anything thrown at her, she listens and asks the right questions. She takes such good care of the kids and leaves the house sparkling. A true gem. Last Saturday my girlfriend and her son were visiting from Boston. He has several food allergies and separation anxiety. She couldn't have been more understanding and calm about the situation. She had all 3 kids fed and happily in bed when we arrived home. I was so impressed with her ability to manage. And she even found time to paint my daughter's nails after the two boys were in bed. So sweet. My kids can't wait to play with her again on Saturday. Such a blessing.

Everyone we have had from Seeking Sitters is incredible...yet Alicia is in a league all her own. She is calm and peaceful yet authoritative and creative. Our girls are delighted to have her come to the house. The other day I was getting concerned that the kids hadnt eaten dinner..and when I gently raised the question, it turned out that not only had they been fed, but the kitchen cleaned to the point I assumed dinner hadn't taken place! I say that as an illustration of Alicia's calm demeanor as well as her going above and beyond. She is unflappable and graceful in a meltdown situation. I hope to see lots more of her!
Gwendy watched the kids for us last weekend and was so great. Also was wonderful with all the pets in our house, which due to my mother's recent passing, has gone from one cat to 3 cats and a dog who doesn't like a whole lot of people and liked Gwendy. That was a relief. She was lovely...and the boys would love to have her back again.

Molly is amazing. She has worked for us approximately 8 hours per day for a couple of weeks now. She gives us excellent feedback on our daughter's day. We have never had to repeat instructions. Molly takes great initiative to do fun things, like going to the library, bringing toys and books.
My kids (ages 8, 11 & 15) loved spending time with Sadie! In their own words, Sadie is " friendly, fun, funny and overall great!" They are hoping she'll get to come hangout with them again soon when sitter needs arise. :)
We had a great week! Having Lindsey M. and Taylor H. here has made a remarkable difference in our evening family "experience". Very professional and fun sitters, that have structure. Amy W. sat for our family several times when we were moving. She made a difficult transition for my two kids (four years and one year) much easier. She was there when their toys and bedrooms - really the only world they had ever known - were packed up, when we were staying at a hotel, and when we moved into the new place. She handled the kiddos with grace, compassion, and an energetic spirit. My kids adore her, and I do, too. I don't know how we would have managed our move without her.
I had Regina for my first event with SeekingSitters and I could not be happier. Regina was there on time and understood everything I told her. She was calm, friendly, courteous and very professional. She had all these fun activities for my son and they had a lot fun playing together. When I got home she left me a handout which had everything that I needed to know about the evening. Trusting someone to babysit your baby is difficult; however, SeekingSitters makes that easy. I am sure they take a lot of care in hiring nannies/babysitters. Mary took care of my 2 girls last night and what an amazing night they had!! My 8 year old said, " Mary didn't take a break, she kept playing with us, baking with us, and eating with us!"
